Biography
Kaleb M. Hagen is a political strategist, campaign operator, and the founder of TBH Strategies, LLC, where he works with candidates, nonprofits, and organizations to build campaigns that are disciplined, effective, and rooted in real connection with the people they serve.
Since 2016, Kaleb has worked on more than 50 campaigns across the country, with experience spanning field operations, campaign management, digital strategy, fundraising, and communications. His work has taken him from local races to U.S. Senate and congressional campaigns, giving him a practical understanding of what it takes to compete and win at every level.
He began his career organizing field operations for Tom Cullerton’s successful State Senate campaign, later managing a State Senate race and contributing to coordinated efforts supporting Tammy Duckworth and the 2016 Illinois Democratic coordinated campaign. In 2020, he helped build the foundation for Frank Mrvan’s successful congressional primary campaign in a competitive field.
Through TBH Strategies, Kaleb leads work across messaging, digital infrastructure, fundraising strategy, and voter outreach. He has helped build and manage more than 20 campaign websites, overseen large-scale field programs, and developed digital campaigns that consistently outperform industry benchmarks. His approach is straightforward: clear strategy, consistent execution, and messaging that people actually believe.
In addition to his political work, Kaleb partners with small businesses and nonprofit organizations to expand their reach through strategic communications, marketing, and project management. He brings the same campaign-tested discipline to every client, focusing on results that are measurable and sustainable.
Kaleb is fluent in Spanish and has served as a principal Spanish-language messaging consultant and translator for campaigns nationwide, helping ensure outreach efforts connect with diverse communities in meaningful and culturally competent ways.
Raised in Indiana as the son of a South Dakota dairy farmer and a Guatemalan immigrant, Kaleb’s work is shaped by a firsthand understanding of the challenges facing working families. That perspective continues to guide his commitment to building campaigns and organizations that are grounded in community, accountability, and long-term impact.
